With regards to diet following general rules are...

• Drink plenty of water daily.
• Fish, Fresh and well cooked vegetables and ripe fruit should form a considerable form of diet.
• Salads, potatoes, beets Spinach, Asparagus, Cauliflower are effective and beneficial.
• Patient with hemorrhoids /piles should be avoid copious meals.
• They should rather eat often and sparingly.
• Alcoholic beverages, strong coffee and highly seasoned dishes should be avoided.

Prophylactic Measures

• The patient should have a good evacuation of the bowels daily. In case this does not occur it will be of the greatest importance to secure if by different therapeutic measures for constipation.

Actual Procedure

After visualizing piles/hemorrhoids with the help of proctoscope.

• Sclerosant injection is injected around the blood vessels in the piles mass at its base.
• It is performed under short general anaesthesia.

For this procedure no need of admission in hospital bloodless procedure. Instruction to be followed by patients for injection sclerotherapy.

• Patient should be empty stomach for at least three to four hours.
